North Shore Deanery

The North Shore Deanery

The North Shore Deanery brings together Episcopal parishes from Lynn to Rockport, and Marblehead to Topsfield. St. Peter’s Beverly has been a very active member of the Deanery since its founding in the year 2000, with some of its delegates serving in leadership positions. The Deanery meets four times per year to create community and foster communication among parishes and the diocese. The Deanery has a number of official duties, including electing officers, electing lay and clergy Diocesan Council representatives, electing a youth representative to diocesan convention, approving Stokes Loans and awarding Deanery grants for outreach programs.

St. Peter’s has hosted many events for the Deanery, including sessions of the Liberating Ourselves from Racism program (seen here in the photos).

Members of the North Shore Deanery’s clergy meet monthly, as well.
