The sharing of meals in company is central to the Christian faith. Fellowship is first and foremost the weekly gathering of our parish members over food and coffee every Sunday after the 10 AM service. Over the course of the year, almost every family in the parish hosts Sunday Fellowship at least once.
We also host potluck suppers several times a year, giving us a chance to meet, share dishes and enjoy each other’s company in Huiginn Hall. For the last two years, St. Peter’s has hosted a Chili Cook-off, which gives our resident chili-heads a chance to show off their “bowls of red”. We’ve also hosted a parish Talent Show for children and grown-ups.
The Fellowship Committee provides coordination and ensures that there are adequate supplies for gatherings (such as coffee, cups, etc.). We’re always looking for people to help. To learn more about Fellowship activities please contact Andrea Schultz.
The Women’s Intergenerational Group meet frequently during the day or in the evening most of the year for dessert, conversation and various events or programs.
