Outreach

Our most visible outreach program is Sunday Night Suppers, which provides a hot meal to anyone who needs one all year round in Huiginn Hall. There are nine volunteer teams who plan and serve the suppers and new volunteers are always welcome.

Our yearly Homecoming event in the fall provides a church service and luncheon to our elder members and the residents of area nursing homes, who are brought to church by cabulance and volunteers and assisted by the Beverly Fire Dept.

Our nursing home ministry provides a Reserved Sacrament Eucharist at are nursing homes once a month, led by clergy and assisted by volunteers.

Parishioners from St. Peter’s are involved in mission and outreach worldwide. In 2004 members of St. Peter’s served those in need in Honduras, El Salvador and South Africa. At home, members are involved in a wide variety of projects and organizations.
